File Name blank in Data Filtering only sometimes

L2 Linker

Hi All

Is there any reason the File Name column in the Data Filtering logs is blank sometimes? Even in the magnified view, it's sometimes not there. Is this normal and is there a reason?

I have attached the log view, which I thought I did when I originally posted.

@s0lselcia,
File Name
The file name is pulled from a static field and sometimes simply doesn't have anything listed. This is common across all installations that I've ever worked with and is to be expected.

File URL

By default PAN-OS has the "log container page only" specified in the URL Filtering profiles under the "URL Filtering Settings" options to help cut down on the amount of logs being generated. If you disable that the frequency of the URL missing will cut down.

Thanks for your response. Is there any documentation on this? I have found these two KB articles which may be linked to the issue:

Will disabling multichannel have negative affects? And if so will this KB option work:

Thanks in advance
