Can you access your portal from inside typing its address with https.

Hi,

Yes i can access the portal from the inside. The globe icon has a cross on it, when it should show connected on the internal network. This only happens on some laptops. Also is there a way of having a secondary portal configured in the client. As a backup?

You can define 2 portals but then you have to use 2 gateways seperately if you don't have GP license.

multigateway needs a license.

Ok, Can you define the second gateway in the global protect client, say in a disaster recovery situation, the client will try to connect to the second gateway when the first one fails..

if you have a license you can.without no.only 1 gateway can be used.

Ok, I'll look into it!

Just a quick question on pre-logon. Can i switch to pre-logon in the global protect portal - client configuration? I have a machine licence....

There was a bug (id 49856) in reference to machine certificates. Please refer to release notes for further details. Issue fixed in 1.2.3

Ok, i will try again with 1.2.3
