On a Windows 10 laptop, we install the GlobalProtect VPN client and everything seems to run to completion. However, when we try to use the VPN client from the tray, it acts like it's greyed out and is non-responsive. Looking at the PanGPS.log, the only interesting looking message is the one in the Subject line above. We've gone through several iterations of uninstall-reinstall-reboot and always end up in the same place. Our local itops teams are overwhelmed with the on-rush of shelter-in-place telecommuters due to coronavirus.
Any avenues from this community? I'll try them.

Hi @RandlHam ,
Have you tried installing your GP client 'as administrator' ?
It's possible that your user account was not allowed to install the appropriate drivers for GP.
If that still fails you might want to check this out: I found some users on the MS technet forum that managed to fix it editing the registry.
Hope this helps,
-Kiwi.

Thank you friend for looking at this. I started a follow-on thread with the PanGps.log installation error message that is more to the heart of the issue.
