PA 220

L2 Linker

Got a question. I'm seeing a red light on ALM ( icon) on our PA 220. I did some research and it says that

ALM (Application and Threat Content Updates) indicator of a Palo Alto 220 firewall, it typically indicates that there is an issue with the firewall's ability to download or install the latest content updates

as per our Local IT the network is stable and he didn't see any issues on site.  I did check our licenses and the expiration is on dec 2023.

I'm new on using PA and its features.

Waiting for your suggestions.

Hi @weezy ,

Actually the ALM led on a PA-220 indicates a hardware component failure:

I'd recommend grabbing a tech support file from your device and reaching out to support as an RMA might be in order.

Kind regards,

-Kim.
