Dear palo alto team,
I would appreciate your advice, please.
We are currently using a Palo Alto PA-1410 running on software version 11.2.3-5h.
However, when checking for updates, we found that 11.2.4-h1 until 11.2.5.
Could you kindly advise whether we should upgrade to a newer software version?
If so, which version would be most suitable for our device?
Thank you for your assistance.
With Best Regards,
Ghislain.

@GhislainB -- Unfortunately no one in Palo or no one outside of your orginaization can tell you what code to run. That said the only direct answer you'll get is generally run the "preferred" code. I don't have a 1400, but I would assume there's nothing hardware specific which would give a different answer. It looks like 11.2.4h7 is the current preferred code. it's really up to you though to look through the release notes. See the current known issues as well as fixes, and from there determine what code is best for your organization.

Hello,
Thank you for responding!
In preferred release, please see attached image.
As mentioned in my previous message, we are currently running version 11.2.3-h5.
To check for a higher version, I needed to deselect both the Preferred Releases and Base Releases options.
I then found the following higher version:
I would appreciate if someone had an idea on which version should be chosen if an upgrade is necessary.
Thank you in advance.
Best Regards,
Ghislain.

Hello,
Thank you for your response!
We have done the upgrade around 6 months ago from 11.2.3 to 11.2.3-h5 and there is no issue.
Best Regards
