Hello Everyone,
We are looking a solution in a case wherein PAN-OS firewall are deployed with only USER-ID based policies for different group of orgranizations.
Now everyhintg is working as expected but IT Engineers are getting trouble in Installing/Downloading softwares/pacthes from their windoes login. In that case they logged out from user and logged in using IT-ADMIN user to get full privildge over URL's to download.
Is there any workaorund where from same user login they get access of restricted URL's by putting IT-ADMIN credentials. ?
Hope above all clearly dectored. Please help in this case.
Thanks in Advance !!!!

You are effectively left with the following options:
1) Increase how often the firewall reads the logs and actively looks for changes. This would still incur a time cost as the firewall updates the user-id mapping.
2) Script via the API a removal of the current mapping and a new mapping with the admin user, then after the admin is done they would need to run another script to remove their mappings so the user doesn't accidentally get full access.
