Packet Capture is getting on automatically in Palo Alto firewall

L2 Linker

Hi Friends,

We have a customer who is facing issue with Packet Capture. Due to few MP Issues we have asked the customer to reboot the firewall. After reboot customer has observed that in Packet Capture the options Filtering and Pre-Parse Match is turning on automatically. I was wondering is it an expected behavior or where can we check why it is happening.

It as PA-3220 device. I have attached the screenshot.

Kindly help me on this.

Hello,

While I cannot say I have seen this, can you recreate the issue using different browsers? Also it could be a bug? I would open a support case, however those settings are just cosmetic since they are option buttons and dont turn packet capture on or off, the Filtering and Pre-parse ones.

Regards,
