Cortex XDR_Incident Tagging

L1 Bithead

Hello All,

Greetings for the day!

I would like to know if there is any way through which we can add the tag in the incidents and alert.

I can see 2 columns available in the alert and incident pane, but not able to edit it with the custom name like we do in the endpoint data.

Also, in the endpoint data we have a column Endpoint Alias which we can name according to the requirement but this column is not available in the incident data & Alert data, due to which we need to manually check the Alias in the endpoint data for each incident and alert.

Is there any way to incorporate the endpoint Alias column in the incident & Alert tab.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Sakshi Seth

Hi @Seth_Sakshi

Thank you for writing to live community! I understand you would like to add the tag in the incidents and alert, while those fields like Tags in incidents and alerts display/pull the value associated with the endpoint for which alert/incident is triggered. Therefore you won't be able to edit those fields under Alerts/Incidents and if you want some tags to be viewed there those tags should be managed on endpoints. You may use tags/endpoint groups to manage on endpoints and you would see similar value whenever there is incident/alert associated to that endpoints triggers under the tags field in Incidents/Alerts.

Hope this helps!
