Anybody else having issues with the BrightCloud database not being reachable?
Get the following error message in the system log...
Cannot receive data from 'service.brightcloud.com:80' to download BrightCloud URL database

Please try the steps as described in below document to test the connectivity issues:
CLI Commands for Troubleshooting BrightCloud URL Database Download
I did a quick test in the lab firewall and I am seeing same issue
admin> request url-filtering upgrade brightcloud
BrightCloud URL filtering database update initiated
admin> tail follow yes mp-log pan_bc_download.log

Yes, I've been working with support for three days on this, seems to be okay so far today. It goes in and out of connectivity with our PA-500, and when it's out we get a high number of not-resolved sites. Support reinitialized the BrightCloud DB connection and that fixed it temporarily, then today they raised the maximum number of dynamic URL requests. Support also advised upgrading, since there is a similar known issue with the OS version we're on (6.0.1) which is resolved in 6.0.5. Planning on doing that next week. Glad to know we're not the only ones with this issue.
