GlobalProtect Version

L4 Transporter

Hi Team,

We are currently running 6.0.5 GP client version, now we are planning to upgrade the version in Prisma. May i know which version is the best version as we faced few issues in 6.2.0 for different customer not sure which is the better version to go with. As the Release notes doesn't give much info on Bugs.

Regards,

Sanjay S

We're currently running GP 6.2.2 with no reported issues, so this version have worked well for us. All 6.X versions go EOL sometime in 2025, so unless you're looking to gain a feature or address a specific issue you could just jump up to the latest preferred release of 6.0 which would be 6.0.7. I don't believe there are any CVEs with the recent few GlobalProtect versions, so unless you're trying to gain a specific feature or address a specific bug there may not be much of a reason to upgrade.

@Sanjay_Ramaiah,

You can see preferred releases of GlobalProtect through the support portal looking under Updates -> Content Type: GlobalProtect Agent Bundle or by looking at the Software Release Guidance page. Presently 6.2.2 and 6.1.3 are the preferred  releases, however I've got multiple customers running 6.1.4 without any issue.

Thanks, I will check it.
