SDWAN disconnection after upgrade

L1 Bithead

Hello,

Her is the problem with a disconnect about SDWAN overlay after these action:

  • Uploaded panorama from 10.2.9-h1 to 10.2.10-h7 preferred.
  • Uploaded plugin SDWAN from 3.0.6 to 3.0.8.
  • Committed without error.
  • During push to devices, all devices receive a quick disconnection (around une minute for each firewall, two minutes in total).
  • Didn't change anything in configuration.

It can be a normal behavior considering these upgrades that could be restarted some processes?

Thank you

Best regards

Hello,

Based on the scenario you described, the brief disconnection of your firewalls during the push to devices following the upgrades can be considered normal behavior. These upgrades, particularly the firmware and plugin updates, can restart certain processes, leading to temporary disconnections.

However, if the disconnections persist or cause significant issues, it's worth checking the release notes for the firmware and plugin updates to see if there are any known issues or additional steps recommended during the upgrade process. Additionally, monitoring the firewalls and network for any unusual behavior post-upgrade can help ensure everything is functioning correctly.
