Sw.js, Hipobject.js,rapidworker.js logs generating in Palo alto firewall

L0 Member

Hi Everyone,

Good day,

We have enabled VA profile in our security policies, we find that "Javascript WSF HTA JSE or VBS File Sent in Email(39002)" has been triggered continously in the threat tab of the firewall. We find file names such as sw.js, hipobject.js, rapidworker.js.

We found that when we access gmail, hotmail, yahoo these files and threat id is getting triggered. but there is no attachments has been sent over the emails.

Can anyone let us know how to find why this threat has been triggering ? is it legitimate ?

Regards,

Bharath Vasudevan

Do you happen to have a copy of the emails in question? Would you be able to open a support case with a category of Threat so that we can investigate this further?

Its just a regular legitimate email access towards gmail, yahoo, hotmail. I have raised a case with palo alto but the response is not very good. i am  unable to reach via phone itself.

Would you mind sharing your case number here so I can make sure it's assigned to the right group and that we can get this moving forward?
