Dear valued Palo Alto Networks customers,

If you are using a static username and password to log in to Aperture, please read the following update carefully:

In an effort to further strengthen your security posture, Aperture will support multi-factor authentication (MFA) for all administrator log-ins starting Thursday, August 24, 2017 at 11:00 p.m. Pacific Time. You will then be able to add an additional layer of security by enabling MFA for all administrators.

As a security best practice, we strongly encourage your organization to enable multi-factor authentication (MFA) or SAML single sign-on (SSO) for Aperture. To assist with this process, the Aperture Administrator’s Guide and technical documentation will be updated with set-up instructions.

Should you have any questions on this notification or need assistance with your Aperture account, please don’t hesitate to contact the Palo Alto Networks Support Team at support.paloaltonetworks.com and a team member will assist you.

Thank you,

The Palo Alto Networks Support Team
