Monitor power supplies using snmp on pa5020

L1 Bithead

  PanOS 7.1.10

I am looking into how to obtain the status of the power supplies using snmp; most info's obtained via google point to snmp trap oid's for power supply failures. That's not exactly what I want; I want to be able to monitor the status of the power supplies using an snmp query (too).   Is this also possible ?

Hi @marce1000,

I believe this currently only exists on the PA-7000 platforms (ENTITY-STATE-MIB : https://www.paloaltonetworks.com/documentation/70/pan-os/pan-os/monitoring/supported-mibs).

For other platforms like the PA-5000 there is an existing feature request for this (FR# 4873).

Please reach out to your local SE and have him add your vote.
