Issue GP Linux - URL Browsers

L4 Transporter

Hi,

I am experimenting a very strange behaviour with Global Protect when connecting to my work from my home. I am able to connect to the VPN of my work and even doing ssh to the server in the private network, but when I try to surf the web, the browser does not show anything. When I disconnect from the VPN, I am not able to connect to the server anymore (as expected) and I able to access the web. This happens in a linux machine with Ubuntu 24.04. Its like GP has any issue with DNS queries from browser when tunnel is UP. GP version is 6.2.0.

Anybody experimenting this kind of behaviour? Any solution or suggestion that can help to identify the problem?

Hi @BigPalo ,

Is your GP configured to send everything through the tunnel or do you have some split tunnel configuration going on ?

The following discussion on the same topic might give you some clues on how to troubleshoot thanks to @aleksandar.astardzhiev :

Thanks Kiwi, but this issue is only happening in Linux. It is the same issue like this link:

We need to find out how DNS queries leave the client which interface is used. Are you using Split DNS?
