Verify SSL and SSH Inspection

L1 Bithead

Hello everybody.

I am using the SSL Inspection over HTTP (HTTPS) service on our office GWs. I know how to set up rule bases and configure my Decryption Profile well. I have read PAN's documentations and watched a tutorial about how to configure a SSL Inspection over other desired protocols, such as SMTP/IMAPS etc. I've come to conclusion that I can basically configure my port to be inspected (using the stardard protocol ports), which is super easy and good.

My question is, how can I verify an email (for example) has been inspected / not-inspected ?

I can't seem to find the appropriate view on the Monitor/AAC tab. Same applies for other 'X' protocls I configured to be inspected by SSL (or in other cases like ftps, SSH).

Thanks,

J.

on the gui... Monitor/Traffic, add the "Decrypted" column.

or.. select the detailed view of specific traffic and it will tell you in there.decrypted.png
