Globalprotect Palo Alto verification uses credentials from a different connection used before

L1 Bithead

I am having an unexpected login issue. I am using 2 VPNs with the same GlobalProtect / Palo Alto authentication. The login from one of the account gets stored and is re-used for the other one, so i cannot connect to one of the VPNs at all. I cleared all the browser info and re-installed GlobalProtect. The issue still persists. It seems to be not of the local nature, and it looks like the login gets cashed in Palo Alto or elsewhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @DmitriV ,

Which browser are you using? Id try clearing out the cookies for GP related sessions. Also, try out deleting the .dat files. Here is a helpful link. Clearing the .dat files should help. Let me know how it goes.

Thank you so much for the feedback. I am using Microsft Edge and i did clear all the cookies, forms and passwords. I have also looked at the directories mentioned int he link and could not find a single .dat file (maybe perhaps i also did a complete GlobalProtect reinstall). Still unable to connect. Thanks again.

Would greatly appreciate any other idea where to look for a solution. My work is seriously hampered by this issue.

P.S. Also would like to mention that other people when connecting get a pop-up screen, which lets them to choose between several accounts to use for MFA (please see below), I never get that screen, it just keeps logging me in with the same credentials all the time.
