Summer has officially arrived! This month was filled with sunny days (depending on where you live) and exciting announcements, events, and more on the LIVEcommunity. Catch up on everything we were up to during the month of June!
We are excited to announce that community members can now view solutions that have been approved by Palo Alto Networks experts (employees) and LIVEcommunity Cyber Elite experts.
This will help provide credibility, trust, and increase search relevancy across the LIVEcommunity. Our Cyber Elite Expert Program recognizes experts in our community from around the globe, who have demonstrated excellence in participation and contributions on LIVEcommunity! They are closely engaged with the community, share technical insights, knowledge, and assist fellow community members to elevate their security posture. Our Cyber Elite Experts are now able to designate solutions as “verified,” allowing for users and customers to find known, verified answers faster than ever.
Keep an eye out for these new icons in the LIVEcommunity discussion areas!
Happening next week—our interactive event all about GlobalProtect! Learn how Palo Alto Networks creates a secure and seamless end-user experience for GlobalProtect deployments. Product Managers Nehal Naik and Varun Ramesh Athreya are our featured experts and will be sharing best practices with community members.
Join us to exchange best practices and connect with other members.
A huge thank you to our community members for showing up to our LIVEcommunity AMA Roundtable in June! The LIVEcommunity team fielded dozens of questions about the best ways to harness product trainings and certifications, navigate technology pages, find out about upcoming events, and more.
You can still check out the LIVEcommunity Q&A even though the event ended. Have a question you didn’t get a chance to ask? Don't forget you can comment on our blogs or post a discussion!
Our monthly rewind wouldn’t be complete without us announcing new pages on LIVEcommunity. We are happy to introduce two NEW technology pages: Cloud Identity Engine and SaaS Security.
These two new areas help showcase these new technologies and include everything from dedicated discussion areas, videos, articles, blogs and resources that can help you in your journey.
What would any new software be without new hardware to take advantage of it?
In case you missed it, there were 2 new hardware series that were released, the new PA-5450 Series and PA-400 Series.
The PA-5450 is designed for hyperscale data centers and takes the place of the PA-5260.
The PA-400 is designed for everything from Home offices to branch offices and midsized businesses. Both of these ML-Powered Next-Generation Firewalls can help ensure zero-trust network security for you and your organization.
@jdelio covers all the details in his blog on the New Hardware Platform Releases.
Last month, Palo Alto Networks launched a new video series: “Security Speakeasy: Behind the Scenes of Network Security.” The LIVEcommunity is spotlighting the series via a weekly column that highlights each new video at the beginning of each week. Check out the latest:
This month, we not only added new leaderboards, but are highlighting LIVEcommunity members who are providing significant contributions in our vibrant community!
For our inaugural Member Spotlight, we chose to recognize Mick Ball (@MickBall). Since joining back in 2014, he's written 1379 posts, received 259 likes, and authored 122 solutions. He’s been especially helpful this past month, earning a spot on both the Top Solution and Top Liked Authors leaderboards—right alongside two of our Cyber Elite experts!
Stay tuned for next month’s Member Spotlight!
And just like that, June is now over and we are welcoming July! We hope this rewind was helpful; as always we welcome any and all feedback.
We want to end this rewind with a question for all of you…If you’re planning on attending our interactive event all about GlobalProtect, what are you looking forward to the most? Learning about GlobalProtect? Connecting with experts? Exchanging best practices?
