This is a great topic that is always changing. Here is what I use to keep up on current events:

• Subscribe to all my vendors email alerts, their findings and vulnerabilities, after all we pay them for research :).
• news.google.com, slashdot.org, thehackernews.com are just a few of the sites I monitor. There are a few others but usually dont get much from them
• Webinars from vendors, ones I use and some I dont because they are a great resource.

• Keep an eye on the vendor forums to see if anyone see's something new

What I want to know is how things are used/done. Meaning if I know an exploit is in the wild, even a zero day, I can usually find either a detection for it, via the SIEM, or protection via Wildfire or another vendor resource. Knowing how the threat actors think, operate, helps me with detection and prevention.
