PAN-OS logs

L1 Bithead

I looking for the log file that tracks the IP addresses of devices that have connected to our Palo Alto Networks firewall.

I am interested in any logs that show source and destination IP addresses for network connections.

Could you please point me to the file path or location of these logs? If they are exported or stored in a specific directory, that information would be very helpful.

HI @shahar.dorfman

Please refer the below response for requested questions.

I looking for the log file that tracks the IP addresses of devices that have connected to our Palo Alto Networks firewall.
Response: You can check the arp for connected devices to firewall and you can use the traffic logs for reference related to traffic passing through data interface but you can't get the file level access as file level access is restricted.

I am interested in any logs that show source and destination IP addresses for network connections.
Response: Traffic log is the option to check what traffic is passing through the firewall data interfaces.

Could you please point me to the file path or location of these logs? If they are exported or stored in a specific directory, that information would be very helpful.

Response: Traffic logs can be exported as file level access is restricted.
