What is Fuel?

The Fuel User Group (Fuel for short) is a Palo Alto Networks customer community made up of thousands and thousands of members world-wide. It is a global customer-driven community of cybersecurity professionals who connect and learn online and in-person.

How do I get involved with and support Fuel?

 

For Fuel members and Palo Alto Networks customers:
There are many ways to volunteer at Fuel. Fill out this form to become a volunteer or contact us directly at fuel@fuelusergroup.org to learn more.

 

For Palo Alto Networks employees:
SEs and Sales Representatives can get involved by lending their technical expertise at Fuel events, lead or co-lead local Fuel Chapter groups and encourage their customers to join Fuel, as well as help identify great potential volunteers and leaders. Marketing teams can promote Fuel membership, events and educational resources. Any Palo Alto Networks employee can attend Fuel events. Why should I join Fuel?

 

Palo Alto Networks customers and employees should join Fuel because it is a vibrant, completely free user community. You will receive educational and networking opportunities that expand your knowledge and optimize your Palo Alto Networks purchases. You will be able to develop robust business relationships through events and meetups, advance your learning through key educational assets and demos and maximize the value of existing product purchases.

 

How can Palo Alto Networks market to and communicate with Fuel members?

 

Fuel can be used as a vehicle for promoting upcoming launches, customer-facing educational content, Calls for Papers and upcoming Palo Alto Networks events. How can Fuel members support Palo Alto Networks business objectives and activities?

 

Fuel members are a great resource for case studies and video testimonials, quotes for press releases, customer advocacy, calls with the media and analysts, beta testing, feedback on forward-looking programs and products, as well as surveys.

 

What is the difference between Fuel and LIVEcommunity?

 

Fuel offers three types of events: Hybrid (both virtual and in-person), virtual and in-person. These different ways to get together allow members to connect and expand their knowledge, skills and network. LIVEcommunity focuses on online forums for education and serves as a self-service support portal for customers.

 

Is Fuel membership free?

How do I start a chapter, find my local chapter or contact my local chapter?

 

Groups around the world meet locally to learn from industry experts, discover technology solutions and share stories and challenges with peers. Fuel local meetings are free and keep the community connected. After you join Fuel, you can check the listings here to join a local Fuel chapter near you! If there is no local chapter and you'd like to look to have one created, please fill out this form or contact us directly at fuel@fuelusergroup.org.
