after 11.1.5-h1 update, 11.1.5-h1 missing from software list

L0 Member

I recently updated to 11.1.5-h1 on one of my firewalls and the software area updated to show the base versions and previous preferred versions we were running but I am not able to see that I am actually on the 11.1.5-h1 version. I assume it isn't listed since it isn't preferred but then how do I know for sure what version I am running?

Do I need to look somewhere else?

Hi @TheHaleyGrimm ,

You can quickly check which panos version you are currently running by checking the General Information widget (Dashboard -> General Information). Its the same box where you see your device nane, mgt ip address,  model, serial #, etc. The software version will show up there. If you don't see the General Information widget, it might've gotten deleted. You can add it back by going to Widgets -> System -> General Information.

You can also check via CLI by running a "show sytem info".

You can see currently installed version which is not preferred if you uncheck both boxes at bottom.

Here is sample from my testbed:

After uncheck....
