I downloaded the PAN-VM 10.0.6 from the customer site. It is showing me the PA-HDF login: prompt, when I type in the default username: admin and password:admin, it's showing incorrect username and password. Any idea how to fix this?

Hi @fedoracore123 ,
Since you post was 3 hours ago, you probably have already been able to login. You have to wait for the 3rd prompt before you can login -> https://knowledgebase.paloaltonetworks.com/KCSArticleDetail?id=kA10g000000CloQCAS. The PA-HDF login is the 2nd prompt.
Your VM was probably still initializing the software after the 1st boot.
Thanks,
Tom

Hi Tom, For some reason I am stuck again. I am getting this prompt, it goes in a cycle (It asks me for a "old password" then "new password" and then comes back to the PA-VM login. Apologize if I am missing something basic.

Hi @fedoracore123 ,
For a VM-Series, the PA-VM is the 3rd and final prompt. Your new password should work.
Thanks,
Tom

Hi @NavidAlam ,
I believe after you change the password you have to commit the configuration for it to take. I could be wrong.
Thanks,
Tom
