A is for Alderan, which was a peaceful planet that was blown to bits by the evil Empire in Star Wars. Now, the problem that Alderan had is that they were defenseless to attacks. They also did not have a way to store their data off site, in a "Cloud" of somekind and they probably did not have a VPN(Virtual Private Networks) setup to transfer data between sites in a secure manner.

A is also for Microsoft Azure.

What is Microsoft Azure you ask? Glad you asked, because Azure is an open, flexible, enterprise-grade cloud computing platform from Microsoft. With Azure you get cloud services that developers and IT professionals use to build, deploy, and manage applications through a global network of datacenters.

With all Cloud solutions, the most effective and secure way to get data to and from the Azure cloud would be to setup a secure VPN from your Palo Alto Networks device to Microsoft Azure. If you want to know how to set this all up, you have come to the right place.

We have a recently updated article that helps answer all of your questions when it comes to how to setup a IKEv2 IPsec connection from your Palo Alto Networks device to Azure. Please see the following article:

Configuring IKEv2 IPsec VPN for Microsoft Azure Environment

As always, please be sure to comment and give us feedback below.
