While digitization has simplified many organizational tasks, it has simultaneously made other facets of business more complex, including an ever-growing attack surface. As the number of connected devices and online services continues to grow, identifying all of these assets and potential vulnerabilities is a challenge. Implementing effective security measures becomes more difficult, especially if you are relying on manual inventory processes.
Read this blog to learn more about what attack surface challenges do organizations face, how to better understand your attack surface, and how the unit 42 attack surface assessment can help you gain full visibility of your on-premise and cloud environments.

Repetitive workflows and manual handling of similar events take up a considerable amount of time and leave you unable to focus on alerts and tasks that really matter.
Cortex XDR 3.6 now includes simple automation that nullifies redundant workflows, eliminates human error and reduces the amount of headcount required for low tier analysts. Developed from understanding the need for automating day to day activities natively within the product, XDR can now automate responses where we already know the entire workflow, thereby eliminating tier 1 and tier 2 level decisions. This allows SOC analysts to focus on alerts that really matter.

It is an essential step in the configuration process, as it allows the changes to take effect and be enforced. Before committing configuration changes, administrators can preview the changes and validate them to ensure that they are accurate and won't cause any disruption to the network.
